This is especially problematic with a product like this, whose target audience is dominated by the … Not what we were looking for. Tena company, by changing its packaging and whatever else they’re doing to their products, has made it impossible for their consumers to follow. People choose according to their preference, they establish product loyalty, and when a company renames, repackages and reformulates its products as Tena has done, it makes it very hard for people to pinpoint which product they prefer. This is especially problematic with a product like this, whose target audience is dominated by the elderly. I buy these for my mom, she prefers a certain size and absorbancy, but I still can’t find it because the changes made by the company have essentially rendered their products as unrecognizable. I have to start all over.
Perfect for overnight, Revision of Previous Review I previously reviewed this product giving this a 5 star, so this is an update. I now agree with other reviewers that Tena has not only changed by adding “Intimates”‘ but the ultimate pad IS NOT as absorbent as they used to be even though Tena claims the pads are the same quality. I did a comparison between the old or previous pad and the new Tena Intimates the ultimate leaks quickly with the same amount of urine. I have morning surges and this pad leaked before I could get to the toilet. My old Tena Ultimates did not. Why did Tena change their pads I don’t know. I know that I will no longer use Tena pads. I suggest you find another too before you find out in public. I didn’t trust the other reviews and found out in public before I did my comparison test. Trust us they are Not the Same!
I LOVE the TENA brand pads – however I do not … I LOVE the TENA brand pads – however I do not like what has happened twice now when ordering. This shows the new “intimates” brand – with a 6 drop rating. They are GREAT pads in my opinion – they are what I ordered, only it is not what I received. The selections says packaging may vary. I received the previous type, style and brand – Serenity – with the 5 drop rating. While both are good – the new pad isn’t as bulky and has a higher drop rating. I wish I had received the correct product. Too much trouble to send back at this point.
