NOT the item shown in product picture. Medela makes (or perhaps, made) two types of Nursing Bra pads, and my wife is very particular as to which she prefers. We ordered this product, which is shown as the round “bra” pads, and instead received a different product called “disposable nursing pads” that is a butterfly shape. They don’t look as discreet under her clothes and she doesn’t like them as much.I’ve ordered this item twice and received the wrong item both times, and neither were eligible for a refund. Its possible…

My favorite nursing pads! I have tried a lot of brands and these Medela nursing pads are by far my favorite. They are not itchy, they absorb a lot and absorb well so you don’t feel the wetness, and they stay in place very well even if you don’t use the sticky tabs! You can see them under your clothing if you wear a thin bra, but I haven’t found any pads that a thin bra will cover up. I usually wear the Bravado seamless nursing bra that has the little foam inserts and that covers them up perfectly!

Catherine says:

Essential for nursing mamas While these are not perfect, these have been the best nursing pads I have tried. They hold in place much better than the Lanisol ones and are more comfortable than reusable pads. When you put them on, you will need to take an extra second to run your hand over the outside of the garment the pad is in to shape it to your body. I use these in nursing bras, built-in support nursing tops, regular dresses that I have co-opted into a nursing dress, etc. and the pads have offered me peace of mind…
