Having used those very annoying thing and crinkly pads, it was with relief that I used this waterproof mattress protector the first night after it arrived. The quilted surface is comfortable but not bulky, and I can attest it really is completely waterproof – no more washing the sheets every time, and no more finding those ineffective pads balled up at the end of the bed.
