Wonderful full mattress protection. We have an older adult in the house with major health issues, including continence issues related to certain medications. I saw this pad and purchased it to provide an additional layer of protection after we upgraded from the cheap mattress that came with the hospital bed to a memory foam mattress (also purchased on Amazon.) These work well and wash well. Some quilting stitching … These work well and wash well. Some quilting stitching came loose with some washing, but didn’t affect the waterproofing of the product. I use these as pet pads on furniture to protect from an incontinent cat. They get a workout.

Thick and stiff. So big and thick and stiff, they’re hard to wash and took forever to dry. I’ll go back to using my old waterproof pads, which are smaller and softer. My smaller pads (about a yard square) have to be placed in exactly the right spot on the bed, which made me think these twin-sized pads were a great idea. But they’re just too big and stiff, hard to fit in the washer, and they hold onto a ton of water even after spinning dry. (I have a disabled adult daughter who requires sheet changes a few times…
