Works Well I am caring for my mom-in-law who has Alzheimer’s and she’s become extremely incontinent during the last few months. I have been ordering several different types of mattress and furniture pads designed for incontinence, and I ordered this particular one because it offers a way to tuck the pad in between the mattress and boxspring so that it will stay in place while she is sleeping. it makes my daughter super hot, and it got millions of little balls … It works, it keeps the mattress dry, but in comparison with another similar pad we own the top fabric of this one fells very polyestery, it makes my daughter super hot, and it got millions of little balls on in a very short period of time. Is not nice to the touch at all. Also, all the different fabric materials (baking fabric, top fabric, and the side fabric that goes under the mattress) have shrunk at different rates and the whole thing looks and lays all weird. I never dryed it in the dryer…
Bad Seams I bought this to use with my father. He has late stage dementia and is incontinent. We have purchased the smaller types of these pads, but he would pick them up and put them on top of himself like a blanket. So, we ordered 2 of the kind that tuck in around the sides of the bed. We used the first one and it didn’t make it through one wash cycle. I was hoping that it was just a defective one.
